How to enter
There is no essay, no application fee and no tour to sit through. You fill out one form. Then you wait for July.
Name, email, school, phone. You self certify your GPA, and we only ask for a transcript if you win. Entry opens November 2, 2026.
One entry, one slip, one name in the container. Entries close July 1, 2027. We do not sell your information, and entering twice does not get you two slips.
July 8, 2027, live on camera. Eight slips come out. The first four win a year of rent. The next four are alternates, in the order they were drawn. All four awards get given out.
The drawing
Every drawing like this sounds rigged, because some of them are. So we are doing it where you can watch. Paper slips in a container. Drawn blind by someone who does not work in the leasing office. Two witnesses in the room. The list matching entry numbers to names stays sealed until the last slip is out. Nobody in the room knows whose name they are pulling. Your odds are 4 divided by the total eligible entries. We will not know that number until July 1.
Who can enter
You must still pass all normal screening requirements. Winning does not guarantee a lease.

You are entered. Nothing else is required from you. Put July 8, 2027 in your phone and we will send the stream link that morning. If you want to see the podcast studio before then, the door is open.

Send this to whoever you are signing a lease with, because a name that is not in the container cannot come out of it.
Inside: the official rules, the odds, the sponsor's address, and the states we are not allowed to include. Also what happens if a winner cannot sign a lease. It is dry. It is also the whole agreement.
No purchase necessary. No purchase, lease, application, deposit, tour, or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Leasing does not improve your chance of winning. All 4 awards will be awarded, provided at least four eligible entries are received and at least four drawn entrants complete verification.
Who can enter. Legal U.S. residents 18 or older, enrolled in or accepted to an accredited school for the 2027-2028 academic year, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Employees of the Sponsor and Yugo, and their households, are not eligible. Void in New York, Florida, Rhode Island, and where prohibited.
Disability waiver. If a disability has affected your cumulative GPA, the Sponsor waives the 3.0 requirement on request. Contact the leasing office before entry closes. The request does not affect your odds and the Sponsor will not ask for a diagnosis.
The award. Twelve consecutive months of base rent for one bed in a 4 bedroom apartment at The Harbor for the 2027-2028 lease year, credited monthly to the winner's resident ledger. Approximate retail value $8,400 to $9,228 per award, $33,600 to $36,912 for all four. Utilities not included. The award does not cover utilities, internet, parking, pet rent, or amenity and administrative fees. No cash is paid and there is no cash alternative. The award is not transferable.
Winners still have to qualify. Each winner must complete a rental application, sign a lease for the 2027-2028 lease year, and pass the same resident screening applied to every applicant, including a criminal background check. Winning does not guarantee approval. A winner who does not pass screening forfeits the award, and it goes to the next alternate in drawing order.
Taxes. The award is taxable income and is not a qualified scholarship. Each winner is responsible for all taxes on it. The Sponsor issues IRS Form 1099 for the full value of the award. A completed Form W-9 is required before any rent is credited.
Name and likeness. Accepting an award is not conditioned on granting the Sponsor the right to use your name, photograph, likeness, or statements. You may decline with no effect on the award.
Residency at The Harbor is not limited to students and does not require enrollment. These eligibility rules apply to the drawing only and are not tenancy criteria. The Sponsor complies with the Fair Housing Act.
