Approximate retail value $12,085 to $14,433 each, including the cash toward tax. Total $48,340 to $57,732. Odds of winning are 4 divided by total eligible entries. Open to U.S. residents 18 or older enrolled or accepted at an accredited school for 2027-2028. Void in NY, FL, RI. The award is taxable income and is not a qualified scholarship. See Official Rules.

How it works

The numbers decide.

No essay, no interview, no committee. Every entry gets a number.

Step 1

Enter free

Seven short fields and a couple of boxes to tick, about a minute.

Step 2

You get a number

Duplicates removed, entries sorted by the time they arrived, numbered 1 through N. We publish the total within three business days of close.

Step 3

Ten slips come out

Identical folded slips, one container, drawn blind with two witnesses. First four win, next six are alternates. The list matching numbers to names stays sealed until the last slip is out, so the person drawing cannot know whose number is whose.

Who can enter

Five boxes.

  • 18 or older, U.S. resident.
  • Enrolled or accepted at any accredited school for 2027-2028.
  • Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher, self-certified. Transcript only if you win.
  • Not a resident of New York, Florida, or Rhode Island.
  • Not an employee of The Harbor or Yugo, or in their household.

Winners live at The Harbor. The award is base rent on one bed here in Johnson City. If you win, you sign a lease for the 2027-2028 year and pass the same screening every applicant does.

Disability waiver

If a disability affected your GPA, contact the leasing office before entry closes and we waive the 3.0. No diagnosis required.
